CAN YOU BE CREATIVE ANYWHERE?   Yes.  But for myself,  Nashville provides me the outlet that I need as a writer.  Before Nashville, I struggled with my writing in many ways.   Nashville provides many outlets for networking, education and support.   The creative vibe in every medium is strong here.  I can feel it race through my body as I drive into the city after a weekend away.  I no longer feel like the “odd person” in a group because my creative friends are just like me.   I feel understood more  now than every before.  I’ve been blessed to be in the Skirts Up Writers Group since February 2014.  These five women accept, encourage and believe in me.  My journey is really just beginning, and it all started the moment I decided to move to Nashville.
